With FIRST we centralize all the billing with one invoice

 markup delivery fees, and all tips always go to the delivery fleets, who remit these tips to their drivers. 

Delivery Fees are based on the delivery fleet provider you choose, and the delivery mileage

Each delivery provider measures “mileage” based on the distance between the pickup location and dropoff address in “route-based” mileage (think when you plug in address in google maps) 

10 miles route-based, other fleets will vary in their mileage range 

Understanding how Delivery Fees + Tips are charged

We leverage a company called Alternative Payments to process invoices + payments. 

At anytime you can view all of your invoices at pay.firstdelivery.com

Issued monthly, covering software-related fees, charged in-arrears

 – Usage fees (minimums, overages, per-order fees) - the cost for monthly access to the platform + per delivery cost for each order dispatched to both internal and external fleets. 

 – Third-party DSP network costs. The per-delivery cost for sending orders to external fleets like DoorDash Drive and Uber Direct. 

Within the first 2 weeks of each month you will receive an invoice via email

You can view all of your invoices by clicking on the "invoices" option in the side nav menu

Click download invoice from the portal or the email

Open the file, and it will look like the one below

Click on the "Invoice Details" link, which will download a CSV to your computer

Open the CSV and you will see a detailed breakdown for each delivery order

If you see a "runner_id" that means an internal driver was dispatched, whereas if you see a DSP provider that means that an external driver was dispatched. 

Understanding how Software Fees are charged

First centralizes billing to one invoice across the various Delivery Providers – rather than having a separate invoice from each Provider (i.e. DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Dlivrd, etc)

 you receive that covers all of the delivery fees + tips. FIRST collects these fees, and pays the delivery providers on your behalf.
