Understanding how Software Fees are charged

We leverage a company called Alternative Payments to process invoices + payments.

At anytime you can view all of your invoices at pay.firstdelivery.com

Monthly Software Invoice - Issued monthly, covering software-related fees, charged in-arrears

This includes:

  • Dispatch Fees – Usage fees (minimums, overages, per-order fees) - the cost for monthly access to the platform + per delivery cost for each order dispatched to both internal and external fleets.
  • Network Fees – Third-party DSP network costs. The per-delivery cost for sending orders to external fleets like DoorDash Drive and Uber Direct.

How to view invoice details:

  1. Within the first 2 weeks of each month you will receive an invoice via email
  2. You can view all of your invoices by clicking on the "invoices" option in the side nav menu

  1. Click download invoice from the portal or the email
  2. Open the file, and it will look like the one below

  1. Click on the "Invoice Details" link, which will download a CSV to your computer
  1. Open the CSV and you will see a detailed breakdown for each delivery order

If you see a "runner_id" that means an internal driver was dispatched, whereas if you see a DSP provider that means that an external driver was dispatched.
